Dr. Logan Porter earned a B.S. in electronics engineering technology from Texas A&M University. Afterwards, he worked on his M.S. in engineering systems at the University of North Texas. His thesis was on a telemedicine application with wireless ECG for remote patient monitoring. Logan earned a Doctor of Engineering (D.E.) in electrical engineering from Lamar University researching a cuff less approach to measuring blood pressure. Logan has worked for various companies in multiple sectors including a RF services engineer for Ericsson, application and sales engineering with National Instruments, and software control engineering on the world’s largest and most powerful pulse laser with National Energetics. Logan’s academic interests are in finding novel non-invasive measurements of physiological signals, telemedicine, and using the latest in electronics to innovate existing systems.
