Hi! My name is Gabriella Bridges. In May 2019, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering at the University of North Texas. During my undergrad at UNT, I have achieved useful projects, including building a low-cost prosthetic leg and receiving 1st place in the biomedical engineering senior design project competition, for our active heating and cooling therapy unit to help athletes in pain.
Continuing at UNT, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering. When I am not in class, I work as a research assistant for Dr. Brian Meckes and currently in the process of obtaining a provisional patent for our senior design project. After I complete my master’s I plan to pursue a career in biomaterials and biomedical implants.
