Reagan Stewart – BS Student

Reagan Stewart

I am a senior undergraduate student, studying biomedical engineering and specializing in bioinstrumentation.

I graduated from Waxahachie High School in 2017 and entered the UNT engineering program in 2018. I will graduate with my undergraduate degree in the Spring of 2021, and I was recently admitted into the UNT Biomedical Engineering GradTrack program.

In addition to attending classes, I was a 2018-2019 North Texas Dancer, and since May of 2017, I have been an American Dance/Drill Team staff member. This last summer, I worked with the Human Movement Performance Lab at UNT Health & Science Center as an intern. I was responsible for creating a statistical parametric mapping (SPM) analysis learning module for future students, and I used SPM analysis on ballet data to compare the differences between male and female movement. Today, I am a research assistant at the UNT Micro & NanoEngineering research lab, and currently assist in the preparation and assembly of lung chip devices.

I am a student advisory board member for the biomedical engineering department, am founding President of UNT's National Biomedical Engineering Honors Society, and have made President's list every semester since the fall of 2017.
